Marriage

Matrimony is a vocational calling from God for a man and a woman to live their lives together in God’s plan for the human race.

Couples wishing to marry in the Church must first contact the Parish Office at least six months in advance. A meeting with the Deacon is required. The steps are the same if you already are civilly married and wish to receive the sacrament.

Marriages

• Meet with the Deacon to determine eligibility, confirm date, and receive wedding guidelines
• Attend a Marriage Preparation program
• Complete FOCCUS Inventory with a FOCCUS couple
• Obtain recent copies of Baptismal and Confirmation Certificates
• Bride and Groom have two people each complete Witness Affidavits
• Make liturgical selections and complete Together For Life form
• Meet with Music Director
• Obtain Marriage License or if civilly married, Marriage Certificate
