The “MAKE Initiative  is a mission call from Bishop Ronald Hicks for the
Diocese of Joliet. Inspired by Jesus’s Great Commission — “Go and make disciples of all
nations” (Matthew 28:19) — Bishop Hicks invites every Catholic to actively live out their faith by
making disciples in daily life.

The “MAKE” initiative is a call to movement — from being passive observers to becoming active,
missionary disciples. Bishop Hicks reminds us that every baptized person is called not to merely
believe, but to *go out* and help others know Christ.
