Sally Knapp

Mrs. Sally Knapp is the fulltime preschool teaching assistant, Director of the Extended Care Program for the past 16 years and Director of the Christmas, Easter and Summer Camp Programs.

Mrs. Knapp attended Harper College and earned an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education.

Over the years at HTS, Mrs. Knapp has had the honor of assisting Mrs. Feldstein in the Kindergarten and in first grade classrooms, coordinated substitute teaching assignments, taught arts and crafts and assisted in the school office. Currently, in addition to her full time responsibilities she coordinates the student lunch monitors and the Sixth Grade/Preschool Buddy Program.

Long time Holy Trinity parishioners, Mrs. Knapp and her husband, Dan, recently celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of three children, all of whom attended Holy Trinity School. Daniel a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign with a degree in Actuarial Science. Kyle, currently in his final year at DePaul University is working toward a degree in Accounting, and daughter, Samantha, is at College of DuPage working toward a nursing degree. "I feel grateful and blessed to have been able to provide my children with a Catholic education, as I truly feel it is the best foundation you can set for your child’s success," said Mrs. Knapp.

Additionally, "I believe every child loves to learn and has special and unique gifts from the Holy Spirit. A child’s self esteem is so important which is why I love challenging each one to help learn what their true gifts & talents are from God."
