My name is Nicole Noverini, and I am the fifth grade homeroom teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic School. This year will be my fifth at Holy Trinity and I have had the opportunity to teach many grade levels and subjects. The best part of working at Holy Trinity has been teaching the same students at different ages! Watching the students grow academically, socially, and emotionally is truly rewarding.
Some of you may know me as Miss Lagattuta, but I was fortunate enough to experience the Sacrament of Marriage this past summer. I chose Holy Trinity as the location of the ceremony, and the mass was incredible thanks to the Holy Trinity community and the students who volunteered time to sing! In the past four years, I have grown so much closer to God because of the spirituality here at Holy Trinity.
In addition to teaching Religion, Pre-Algebra, Language Arts, and Science, I am the Assistant Principal, the Student Council Coordinator, and just started the Homework Club. Each subject is fun to teach for different reasons, but I do like teaching poetry and reading comprehension because it challenges students to look at text in new ways. One of my favorite quotes is, "People are like stained glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within."-Elizabeth Kubler Ross. This quote is unique because it shows that even though we will face challenges together, we can all let our light shine from within!
Thanks,
Mrs. Noverini
