Hello! My name is Lorin Rentas and I am the second grade teacher at Holy Trinity School! This is my second year here at Holy Trinity. I feel I have one of the most important and fulfilling jobs that are possible!

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. I make certain to have strong student-teacher relationships, high expectations, differentiated instruction, cooperative learning, combined with a warm environment; which I feel is a recipe for a successful classroom. Yet, it is not a recipe you whip up and sit back and enjoy. As an educator, I plan to evaluate my ability to employ these practices daily, to ensure that I am giving every child the education that they deserve and will enjoy.

• I am the cross country coach this year!
• I love to read! My favorite genres are poetry and non-fiction.
• My dream would be to travel the world to experience all cultures. So far I have only made it as far as Italy.
• In my spare time I enjoy cooking, movies, and exercise.
