Lisa Fredricks

Hello! My name is Lisa Fredricks and I teach third grade at Holy Trinity School. In addition to teaching, I also coach girls' volleyball during the Fall.

I grew up in Lisle, IL. While attending St. Joan of Arc and Benet Academy in Lisle, my Catholic faith grew strong. I truly understand the importance of a Catholic education and enjoy passing that knowledge onto my students.

I recently found my old third grade writing journal. Here is one of the entries:

What I want to be ..."When I grow up I want to be a teacher or a person who likes to work in a gym."

Apparently I knew what I wanted to do with my life way back when I was in third grade. Over the years my passion for teaching has grown deeper. Today in my classroom, I take pride in building a safe community in which students can learn through engaging activities.
