Mrs. Lori Dvorak began her teaching career in the public school system in Downers Grove District 58. She started the full year Level 1 Foreign Language pilot program for O'Neill Middle School.

After finding great success with the pilot, Mrs. Dvorak was offered the opportunity to establish a new 5th - 8th full year French and Spanish program at Holy Trinity.

This year, Mrs. Dvorak begins her 5th year teaching at Holy Trinity as the 8th grade teacher. "I have seen great success as our graduating class last year completed the pilot program and are scheduled in Level 2 / Honors high school classes," said Mrs. Dvorak. "Several students were able to partake in a trip to Paris and Barcelona with EF Educational Tours. It was an amazing linguistic and cultural experience!"

This year at Holy Trinity, Mrs. Dvorak's teaching responsibilities include Religion, Level 1 and Level 2 French, Level 1B Spanish, and 8th grade Language Arts. Mrs. Dvorak is also celebrating her 5th year of being involved with the student music ministry. "I am so thrilled to be involved with this ministry," said Mrs. Dvorak. "My passion for music as a cantor can be shared with our spirit-filled 5th through 8th graders. I look forward to an amazingly blessed year!"

We encourage you to attend 4:30 PM mass on Saturday or the 8:15 AM mass on Friday mornings with the Holy Trinity School children to experience Mrs. Dvorak's musical passion first hand.
