Hi! My name is Janet Cavanaugh and I am so excited to be teaching Preschool. This is my second year here at Holy Trinity.
I attended Immaculate Heart of Mary High School and Elmhurst College. I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Ed. Working with the younger ones is extremely rewarding. My favorite quote by Plato sums up my views on the importance of Early Childhood Education:
"You know that the beginning is the most important part of any work, especially in the case of a young and tender thing; for that is the time of which the character is being formed and the desired impression more readily taken..."
In my spare time, I love to travel, bike, read, and just spend time with my family. I have been married for eighteen years to Jim and we have been blessed with three wonderful kids, Alex, Megan and Sarah.
