Hi, my name is Ashley Wagner and I am the technology coordinator here at Holy Trinity. I also teach fifth grade math, Level 2 reading, and 6th/7th language arts. One of the most important things that you should know about me is that I truly enjoy my job!
My husband Ryan and I have been married for seven years. We spend most of our free time with our families or exploring the area, having moved here just two years ago. I grew up in Johnsburg, Illinois and went to Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
A former teacher of mine said that "learning should be fun, yet challenging, balanced with just the right amount of humor and discipline." I fully agree! My philosophy on education is simple. I believe my job as an educator is to help students become lifelong learners. There is a lot to discover outside of a textbook; learning takes place both in and out of the classroom. My philosophy also includes patience, time, and love.
I look forward to another great year working with both the students and the parents.
